So far it's been pretty much a boring Winter. Even the weather has been boring. The only real snow we have had, was the one a few days back before Halloween.

Virginia (UVA) basketball has been good this year. They are 18-3 and ranked 16th in the Country. I hope after today, they will be 19-3. :)

Tip of the day: If someone only talks to you when they want something.....they ain't your friend. To bad there are a lot of people like that in this World.

James is almost 17 years old

Not a lot been going on the first few weeks of 2012.....other then that I haven't been feeling too good.

Jamers turns 17 years old this Saturday. He is growing up fast. I also guess that means I'm getting ....old. O'well, I guess you can't live, without getting old.

Haven't really had a bad Winter so far. We had that snow a few days before Halloween, but since then not been bad at all.

Well, it's Christmas Eve. To tell you the truth, it doesn't feel like it at all to me. With Jamers being in Iowa again this Christmas, it just ain't like it used to be.

In years past we would go over to grandmas house and go look at Christmas lights. Then we would come home and make cookies for Santa. James would be all excited! We would have Christmas lights up all over...inside and outside. And we would have the big Christmas tree up.

Now, well.....it just ain't the same. Me being here by myself with just the little tree up. And on top of that I haven't been feeling good. O'well, I guess you got to go with what life hands you.

Almost Christmas

Well, one more week until Christmas. I'm done with everything. Done all the Christmas shopping. Mailed Jamers boxes out to Iowa this week. Mailed all my Christmas cards out. Done!!

It's not the same, with Jamers being in Iowa and me being here by myself. But sometimes you just have to go along with life, and make the best of it. So that's what I've been trying to do.

Hard to believe December is here already. Christmas is only three weeks away!

James came home for Thanksgiving. He was here for nine days. It was real good to have him here. We had a really good Thanksgiving. Went over to my moms house for dinner.

James left for Iowa last Sunday, and got out there Monday night. I miss him, but I want him happy and safe wherever he is!

I wasn't going to put up the 8 foot Christmas tree with just me being here this year for Christmas, so I went and got a little tree with the lights made on to it....it's real nice. :)

I have been Christmas shopping, but have some more things I need to get. I need to have all of Jamers presents and packed up, so I can have it mailed out to Iowa to him before Christmas.

Old man Winter came early

Old man Winter didn't want to wait this year. This past Saturday, (Oct. 29th) we got about two inches of snow. Yeah, snow before Halloween! So I'm guessing it's going to be a long Winter....

James is coming home for Thanksgiving! He will be here for a week. Looking forward to seeing him in person. Hard to believe it's been over six months since he went out to Iowa to live with his aunt.

I already started Christmas shopping. Getting James a laptop, (he knows about it). Also got a few other things so far. And when he comes home for Thanskgiving I'm taking him out to the stores so he can pick some things for himself. :)

Not too much to talk about. The weather is getting cooler and the days is getting shorter. I think they call that......Fall. Halloween is just a few weeks away. O'yeah, believe it or not, I have already started my Christmas shopping! That's always a good thing. :)

My mom went to Ga. with her sister a few weeks ago. She should be back in a few days.

James is doing good in Iowa!

And lets not talk about my football teams. :( Maybe next time I write in this, they will be doing better.....

Ready for Fall

It's starting to feel like Fall....and that's just ok with me! Fall is my favorite season. The cooler days, the changing colors of leaves, FOOTBALL. Yeah, I will take a 60 degree day over a 90 degree day all year round.

Speaking of football, UVA has started the season at 2-0. But, my Cowboys lost their first game last night. :(

James is doing good out in Iowa. I miss him, but as long as he is safe and happy where he is, I'm ok with it. I guess Iowa is like anyplace. You got the good people that will stand by your side and help you when you need it. And then you got the people that only care about themselves, and only feel important when they are putting other people down. I guess the only thing you can do in life is stick with the good people, and stay away form the others. :)

Tip of the day: Some people will never change. If they are a lying, cheating, lowlife today, they still will be one next week....next month....next year.

Well, a few things has went on since the last time I wrote on here. Let's see, O'yeah....James's girlfriend had her baby!! ''Jazmyne'' was born Monday afternoon (the 22nd of August). Baby and mommy are doing well. James put a bunch of pictures up on Facebook. She is a cutie.

The kids here went back to school yesterday and the last few mornings has been down in the 50's. So yeah, Fall will be here soon!

I had my 46th....I mean my 18 birthday a few weeks ago. :) I don't feel a day over 60!

Dog days of Summer....

Not a lot at all has been going on. Just been a HOT boring Summer pretty much here. Don't get me wrong, I'll pick boring over drama any day of the week.
My new computer is working great! Windows 7 is nice. Still getting used to it, because I had Windows XP for eight years.
Well, my ummmmm....46th birthday is this Saturday. Man, seems like I was just 18 back in the 80's (the good old days). Where does the time go? I mean really, one day James is a baby and the next he's 16 going on 30!

Got a new computer

Ok, I know. I haven't wrote on here for over a month. I think this is the first time I went over a month not writing anything since I started it. O'well, I'm sure nobody cried about it. :)
So, what's new? I got a new computer this past Sunday. It's really nice....and it's soo much faster then my old one.
James is still out in Iowa. He isn't staying with his mom. He is staying at his aunts house in Hampton. He likes it a lot. As long as he is happy and safe and stays out of trouble, I'm ok with it.
Lets see, other then that, it's pretty much the same old stuff. I live a boring life these day, so it's not much to talk about. :)

Fixed the cat, car and computer this week....

Took the cat to the Vet last week and got her ''fixed''.....also got her shots and even her nails cut. Also, I had to reinstall my computer. I hate doing that, but I had to. My computer is five years old, (I think that's like 50 years in human years). lol I would love to get a new one.....maybe someday.

I worked on my car and got some of the shine back on it. Still need more work on it, but it's looking a little better. It will be 18 years this July since I got it (new). Yeah, I've had it for a long time, and it's been through a lot!

It's been three weeks today since James got on the train to go to Iowa. I hope everything works out for him. I hope he is getting the adult supervision out there in Iowa, that he needs.

Didn't know it's been over a month since I wrote in this....O'well. Let's see, what's been going on? O'yeah, James is back in Iowa. He got on the train this past Friday afternoon and got to Iowa late Saturday night. Don't know if it's for the best or not. At this point I don't really know what is the best. All I can do is HOPE. I really hope he finds the right people to be around out there to guide him in the right direction....and not to give up on him or talk down to him. People has to understand he is a 16 year old boy who is still growing....physically AND emotionally.

A lot of people these days seem to give up on other people, and really anything, way to easy. This is the ''Lazy Generation''. People these days only care about themselves....me,me,me. I can't blame just the teenagers, because I know a lot of ''adult's'' that won't go out of their way to help another person. It really is sad.

It has been hot the last few days....up in the mid 80's. I really would like to have some Spring, before Summer kicks in! I did go over to my moms Sunday for Easter lunch.

Sometime all I can do is just shake my head.....because it seems like people don't want to hear what I say. Sometimes it's like I'm just talking to myself. You people out there with teenagers, know what I'm talking about. I don't know why teenagers today ''think'' they know everything. I guess when they grow up, they will know better. But until then, I feel like pulling all my hair out!!

Well, it's Spring. Been warm the last few days, but calling to be cool again by the end of the week. My poor plants has had a long Winter. About another three weeks or so and I can take them back outside.

It was a year yesterday since my cousin Shelby passed away. She was way too young to pass away! Makes you think that you better enjoy the people in your life every day, because you never know when something may happen.

Think Spring

It's a cold, dark rainy day. Can't wait until Spring. Not the HOT muggy days of Summer, but the nice warm sunny days of Spring. All my plant's are looking sad from being inside all Winter. About another month I'll be able to take them back out on the patio.

Well, James has been back for three weeks now. Things are going good. He is back in school and seems to be really happy to be back in Virginia. I think he found out that ''the grass isn't always greener on the other side''.

Other then that, not a lot has been going on....and that's the way I like it! :)

James is back home

Well, well, well. How fast things can change. James is back home here in Virginia. Yeah I know, it happend pretty fast. I'm not going to get in to all the details, but he got home yesterday. His train trip lasted around 30 hrs. (4 hr layover in chicago). He got off he train in Staunton at 2:55 P.M. wednesday, ( 1hr. and 25 minutes late). So he's been back here now a little over 24 hrs. He said that he is really happy to be back home. I'm happy, (along with a lot of other people) that he is back. He was in Iowa around two and a half months.

Like I said, I'm not going in to all the details or point fingers at people or anything like that. That won't help anything. For the people that helped James when he was out in Iowa, thank you! For the people that turned their backs on James when he needed your help the most, I don't know how you can look at yourselfs in the mirror every day....but I guess you've got used to it.

Anyway, all a parent can do is love their kid and ALWAYS be there for them....and NEVER, EVER give up on them, especially during the tough times! That's when they need you the most!

Half empty, or half full??

Have you ever had ''one of those days'' thats seems to last, O' I don't know....ten years or so? Well, I have....

You look around and see some people that are always happy, have no worries, no pains, the suns always shining down on them....and you think to yourself, hmmmm, what pills are they taking?

For the rest of us we wake up in the morning with a backache and a stuffed up nose and think, ok, what's the first thing that's going to go wrong today. You get out of bed and trip over the cat, (that dosen't help your aching back any)....stumble to the kitchen, just to see there is no coffee in the coffee pot. All along the cat, (yeah, the one that hasn't been ''fixed'' yet) is meowing very loud and weird....witch I know will last a week or so. This will come back every month or so, until the cat is ''fixed''....lucky me. You look at the clock, and it ain't even 6 A.M. yet. Yeah...

Now don't get me wrong. I know there are always people in this World with problems worse then mine. Heck, by reading Facebook everyday, some people seem to gripe and complain over every little thing in life.

So, I guess what it really comes down to is '' do you see the glass half empty or....half full''? Some people will never be happy, no matter how good they have it....and some people will never complain, no matter how bad they have it.

Yeah, so is it half empty, or half full??

Well, well, well. I've said it before and I'll say it again. If it ain't one thing....it's another....and another....and another.... Just about ever day it seems there is something new to hit me up beside the face....Wham! Bang!

I guess all anybody can do is take one day at a time, and do the best you can do with what comes your way. Over the years I have learnt a few things. One is that it really doesn't help anybody to get mad and say things you don't mean. That never helps, and a lot of the times it even makes things worse.

Yesturday was James's 16th Birthday. I don't think he had a very good birthday. That makes me sad, but a lot of it is because of things he brought on himself. I know James has a lot on his mind right now, but he needs to understand that he has family that will be there for him 100% of the time. He needs to stop pushing the people that care the most for him, away. I love James more then anything in this World, but he needs to learn ''respect''. And when he does, he will learn that life will be just a little bit easier.

Now for the Weather....we got about ten inches of snow the other day. Was a wet snow, so it stuck to everthing. It was real pretty. Saying we may get another storm next week. This morning it was 10 degrees. So I guess Spring is still aways off.

In sports....UVA and the Dallas Cowboys suck this season.

Why do people lie?

Why do people lie all the time? I'll never understand. It seems like just about everybody I have known has lied to me....not all, but a lot, (a lot of them more then once). Maybe that's why I don't have a girlfriend, or a lot of friends of any kind these days. I just don't put up with lies like some people. It seems like it's so easy for some people to lie, about anything and everything....really for no reason. And that leads me back to my question....WHY?

Do they think it makes them feel important? Does it make them feel smart? Does it make them feel better then other people? And, do they REALLY think that people believes all the lies that they tell? I have never came up with an answer.

I think some are pathological liars, (Someone who lies frequently without any reason). I don't know, maybe I'm just a person that people like to lie to.

Now, I'm not talking about ''little white lies''. Like if someone asks you if you like their new hair cut and you say yes,(even if you don't). In that case the person is trying to be nice without hurting your feelings. That's a good person. I'm talking about people that lie for the hell of it, and they don't care who's feelings they hurt....or, in some caese they WANT to hurt someons feelings. Those are the people I'll never understand.

O'well, this is my rant of the day. I just wanted to talk about it, not that it will ever make liar's stop lying.

Not too much been going on, ( I guess that's a good thing). I ''think'' I got the car fixed. Haven't had a dead battery for the past four or five days. I think it was the radio drawing the power down. Unhooked the radio and the battery hasn't went dead once. On the bad side, I have no radio or clock in my car right now. O'well, that radio is the same one that came in the car....17 and a half years ago. So if I get a new one, it may fix the dead battery thing. I don't know, I guess I could always sing to myself....ummmmm, or maybe not.

Went to the grocery store this morning and spent $92.00, and it seems like I didn't even get that much! Since James is in Iowa for right now, it hasn't been taking as much food, (let me tell you, the boy can eat)! lol But I guess I was like that when I was a teenager.

Other then that, like I said hasn't been too much going on, (maybe I shouldn't say that too loud)?

Not been a very good week, (what's new,right)? Anyway, For one thing I haven't felt too good the last few days. I hate pain! Pain sucks. Also, My damn battery in my car keeps going dead. I had the battery checked and they said it was good. And I even had a new alternator put on, not even two months ago! But yet, every day now it's dead!! The only thing I can figure out is that ''something'' is drawing the power from the battery. I hope I can figure this out soon, because having a dead battery EVERY day really, really SUCKS!!

Also, UVA lost to UNC in basketball yesterday, (and it was a game UVA should have won). And in football, my Cowboys didn't even make the playoffs this year. O'yeah, did I mention that it's COLD and WINDY?!

All in all the best word I can think of right now is....blah.

It's 8:25 P.M. on New Years Eve. A few more hrs. and this year will be over. Wasn't a very good year. To tell you, the last few years ain't been very good for me. Don't get me wrong, I guess it could have been a lot wores....but again, it could have been a lot better. O'well, I guess you take what's giving to you and do the best with it you can. It sure didn't seem much like Christmas for me this year. I went over to moms yesterday evening and ate Christmas dinner with her. We exchanged presents also. It was calling to get bad today, so we didn't take a chance and went on and did Christmas. The snow held off. It snowed a little this morning, but now it's snowing real good outside.

James said he had a good Christmas eve and Christmas day. I'm glad he had a good Christmas out there in Iowa! He said he liked eveything I sent him, and he said he got a lot of good stuff out there. I sure do miss him being here, but I'm glad that he is happy!

I got a new cell phone and a watch and a few other things. The cat got some new toys. :)

Well, one more week until the new year. I hope it's a better year. I seem to say that every year. O'well, I can always hope!

It's three days until Christmas. I've been trying, but don't think I'm going to get into the Christmas spirit too much this year. It's just hard after having James with me for the past 15 Christmas's, to get used to it by myself this year. I would put up the big tree and put Christmas decorations and lights all over the place....even outside. Then I would make sure he had LOTS of presents under the tree Christmas morning. We would always make Christmas cookies on Christmas Eve....and go look at Christmas lights. Just a lot of little things we did together at Christmas time.

I really do hope James has a GREAT Christmas in Iowa this year. Like I have always said, I want James happy, no matter if it's here in Virginia, or out there in Iowa!

Ever since James got on the train three weeks ago to go to Iowa, it has been COLD here in Virginia....and even snowy. Now they say we ''may'' get snow on Christmas day. I hope it don't get bad, at least until later Christmas night.

One thing I hate, that I have seen more of this year, is that a lot of places and people are saying ''Happy Holidays'' Instead of ''MERRY CHRISTMAS''. This Country ( USA) is trying to get rid of GOD all together. Well, it's not going to work! Don't tell me ''Happy Holidays''....tell me ''Merry Christmas'' or don't say anything!

Starting to look and feel alot like Christmas

James has been in Iowa for a week now. I talk to him every day, either on the cell phone or Facebook. I'm sure things are a big change for him out there. He won't be as spoilt out there as he has been here, that's for sure. He's had it made here all his life.

Well, Christmas is a little over two weeks. Still not really much into the Holiday Spirit, and more then likely I won't be this year. I did put a few Christmas decorations and lights up. I got James some presents. Going to box them up and send them out there to him in a day or two.

It's been cold the last week and we even got a little snow the other night. I wounder if that's a sign of another bad Winter. We really had a bad one last year. It sure is looking and feeling like it.

Well, James is in Iowa now. He got on the train Wed. at 4:05 P.M. , (it was an hr. late). He got to Iowa last night (Thur.) at 6:30 P.M. Seems some-what lonely and quiet here. It's just me and the cat.

I hope James is happy out there and stays safe. I told him if and when he wants to come back, he will ALWAYS have a home here with me....and the cat.

I'm just not in the Christmas spirit this year at all. I did put up some Christmas lights yesterday....I guess that's a start.

Well, James is going to move to Iowa to stay with his mom. If everything go's as plan, he will get on the train Wed. and get to Iowa on Thur. All this really came about really fast. I can't believe he wont even be here for Christmas. :(

I really am sad....but I just want him to be safe and happy.

We went over to my moms for Thanksgiving dinner today. I wasn't really in the mood, but went anyway because I know it means a lot to my mom. But I sure ain't in the holiday spirit this year at all. That's sad, because I love Christmas time....but not this year. I'm not going to even put anything up this year....not even a Christmas tree. I'm mean why?? It's going to only be me and the cat here anyway, so what's the uses??

But James knows he will ALWAYS have a home here with me!

Court....

Well, James went to cout yesterday. It turned out a lot better then I thought it would. He got 50 hrs. of community service ( that he has to do in six months) and if he can stay out of trouble for a year, all the charges will be dropped. So yeah, I'm happy with how it turned out. I just hope James has learned his lesson and will be good from now on!

Hard to believe Thanksgiving is almost here....then Christmas! Seems like it was just Summer. :o

Yeah, I know....I haven't been writing in this much the last few months. The truth is a lot has been going on and ...well, I just don't feel like writing it all down. Living it is hard enough some days.

Cooler days and nights are here. Really does feel like Fall....and after that HOT Summer we had, cool is good!

Neither My Dallas Cowboys or UVA are doing too good in football so fare this season. :(

James has to go to court on the 12th of November. I HOPE he doesn't get any time. Hoping he just gets some community service. I also hopes that he starts doing what's right and doesn't ever get into anymore trouble again!!

My Aunt Barbara is up from Ga. I think she is staying at moms for two weeks. Be nice if my mom would go back to Ga. with her for some time. I know she would like that.

Physically, mentally and emotionally drained

A lot has been going on with James. I'm not going to write everything that's been going on, but let's just say he needs to get his life in order before he really screws it up! But no matter what I say to him, or what anybody tells him, he has to make his own mind up. Only he can do it.

It really makes me sad. I want what's best for my son. I hate everything that's been going on with him. I don't want him to mess his future up. All this is making me old fast. It seems like every day now it's something new. I'm just physically, mentally and emotionally drained. :(

If it ain't one thing, it's another. Lets just say James hasn't been listening too good. I don't know what's wrong with the boy. If he doesn't start listening better, he is going to get himself into some big trouble. I hate it, but don't know what more to do. :(

Fall is almost here, and I'm glad. It's been a long hot Summer, (and once again, not a very good Summer). To tell you the truth, I can't remember the last ''good'' anything I've had...Summer, Winter, Spring or Fall. O'well, just got to go with it, I guess. Take it as it comes....

Football season is here. UVA ,(Virginia) won their first game last weekend. Dallas playes their first game this Sunday night against the deadskins.

Back to school, back to normal....I guess

So, James come home a week ago Tuesday. He started school this past Tuesday. More or less it's back to normal....and that's not really a good thing. We are going next Thursday to get some ''help'' with James. I hope it works. I really want James to get his act together before he gets himself into some BIG trouble. James is a good person, he just needs to start making the right choices and stop hanging with people that are trouble makers. I know sometimes that's hard for a teenager to do, but he has to. That's all there is to it.

Been a year....

Hard to believe it was a year ago today that I went to the hospital, (the first time). I remember that Saturday evening it got to the point that I had to call 911 for the ambulance to come and get me. I couldn't believe when they told me at the hospital that I had less then 1/3 the blood in me that I should have had.

They pumped 5 units of blood into me over the next few days. They was pumping blood into one arm, and kept taking blood out of the other arm every few hrs. Nope, wasn't too fun.

Well, a few weeks later I went to UVA for an operation for the tumor. They sent me home, and in a few days my leg, (where they took the skin graft from) got infected. I couldn't even move my leg an inch because of the PAIN. Well, back to the hospital again. After being there all day, they sent me over to UVA in an ambulance. They kept me for another four days. Between my chest and leg, it was a lot of pain, to say the least.

Talking about pain, the morning they took all those staples out of my leg, (when it was infected) was unbelievable pain! They even gave me Morphine, and it didn't help any.

My leg is all better now. My chest, well, I still have pain sometimes. I have to go back to UVA in October for a check up for it. They said even after all of this, it still cold come back. Lets hope not....

And with some other things that has been going on in my life, this hasn't been the best 12 months of my life. But as people say ''look on the bright side of things''. That's not always easy....but I guess it's not meant to be.

Coming home

Well, James wants to come back home. He has been out in Iowa with his mom for a month. He called me a few days ago and said he wanted to come back home. If everything works out right, he should come home Tuesday.

I talked to him and told him if he wanted to come back he was going to have to listen a lot better....and I do mean a lot better, and also have respect for people. I hope he does! James is a good boy. I think it has a lot to do with who he hangs around with.... and he is also trying to grow up too fast.

School starts in less then two weeks, (Aug. 17th). So, if James gets back on the 10th, he will only have a week until school.

Well, today is my 45th birthday. Didn't do anything, didn't go any place. My mom came over and gave me a birthday card with some money in it. Other then that, just another day. I got a text from James saying ''happy bday''. I guess thats better then nothing. I guess he is too busy. O'well....

It's been really hot this Summer. Last Winter we had all that snow and very cold temps. Now, temps in the 90's and even over 100. This past 12 months or so sure hasn't been the best times of my life, and the weather sure hasn't helped any. But heck, what are you going to do about it?

Well, I will turn 45 this Friday, (July 30th). It really is just another day. My mom always gets me a little something, but that's about it. But that's ok with me. I've never been a person that wanted a big deal made out of anything. The past few Summers ain't been that great for me anyway. Maybe I should move my bithday to the Fall. lol Fall is my favorite time of the year anyway.

The cat, (Carmen) was out on the patio yesterday and went to eat a bee. The bee stung her in her mouth. Lets just say she didn't like that too much. lol

More hot muggy days. As cold and snowy as last Winter was, this Summer has been HOT, HOT, HOT! It's been in the 90's seems like almost every day this Summer. O'well, not much we can do about the weather.

I got my new drivers license the other day. At least I won't have to get another one for eight years, (2018).

My two tomato plants have been doing good this Summer. I have got 17 tomatoes so far, with more of them still on the plants. But to tell you the truth, I just haven't been much in a tomato mood, so have been giving them to my mom.

I know it's been over a month since I wrote, sorry, but a lot has been going on the past month.

First of all, about three weeks ago James got mad at me because I wouldn't let him spend the night at his girlfriends house. So he got pissed off and stayed there anyway. The next day his girlfriends mom brought him home. He came in, packed a bag and walked back out. As he walked past my car he broke the window out. He went back to his girlfriends house and stayed there a week. (O'yeah, he said he wasn't going to help me pay for the window). I could have press charges on him....but I didn't.

I got him back home on Saturday. Come Wednesday James had the cops here along with his mom, (if you want to call her that). James told the cops he wanted to go to Iowa. The cop told me since I couldn't find the custody papers that night, I couldn't stop him from going with his ''mom''. (I've found out since then, I could have).

So right now James is in Iowa without my permission. I'm not for sure what I'm going to do yet. Since I found the custady papers, I can get his ''mom'' for kidnapping James, and I can also report James as a runaway. So I'm not sure what I'm going to do as of yet.

Since the custady papers say that James is ''in the physical care and control'' of me, ANYTHING his mom does with james right now is illegal. So I'm sure it's only a matter of time....

Not too much been going on. James got out of school this past Tuesday for the Summer. He has a part time job for seven weeks, that he starts Monday. I think it will be good for him....hope so anyway.

Been hot and muggy, but I guess that's what you get in the Summer time. I like days in the mid 70's, but we don't seem to get a lot of those. Ether hot and muggy or cold and snowy. O'well, take what we get I guess.

Went to UVA On Monday. They said my chest was doing ok, and that everything looked normal, (as normal as it can look). They did find a stapel and pulled it out....that didn't feel too good. For my two numb fingers, they ain't going to do anything about it now. They said unless I start to lose feeling in them, that they wont operate. So guess I will just have to live with thw numness for now....unless I can find a Dr. that will operate.

James is over at his girlfriends house to day. They get out of school for the Summer on the 8th of June.

I already got nine little tomateos on my tomatoe plants. Hope they do good this Summer. My Sunflower plants are getting tall. Should be real pretty in time to come.

After the coldest and snowiest Winter on record, this Spring has been....well, lets just say a little crazy! It will get hot a for a few days, (up in the 90's), then down in the 50's a few days. Back and forth. Been like that since Easter, (the first of April). I can see why I can't get over this stupid head cold that I have had for over two weeks.

Well, I go back to UVA on Monday. I have two appointments. One at 8:50 A.M. and one at 10:00 A.M. One is for my chest, to see if everything is going good with it. The other is for my fingers, (the two on my left hand has been numb since I got sick last Summer).

The weather here has been crazy! Hot a few days and then cool, then back to hot. I can see why I have a cold....

Happy Mothers Day to all the great moms out there that took care of your kids, (or are taking care of your kids). It's soo easy for a mom to give up their kids these days, just because it's too hard for them....or they choose a boyfriend over top of their kids....or whatever. It takes a REAL woman to raise a child, and a Real mother to always be there for their child....no matter what.

Not too much has been going on. The hot temps we had a few weeks ago didn't stay around for too long. We had days in the 50's and nights in the 30's since it got up to 90. Mother Nature has been a little mixed up.

My Aunt Barbara and two of my cousins came up and stayed at moms last week.

O'yeah, our Hampster died. We found him in his food bowl. :(

Well, it has felt like Summer the last week, not Spring. The past three days it got up to 90 degrees! But a cool front is moving in today and was only up to 79.

Was a nice Easter. Was sunny and in the 80's all weekend. Took James to the store and let him pick some things out he wanted for Easter, (I also got him some candy....what's Easter without candy?)

I got my tomato plants last week and some Sunflower seeds and some other seeds. I took all my plants out on the patio yesterday....it was a long Winter for them in my Livingroom.

Well, my cousin Shelby was was laid to rest this past Wednesday. In other words, Heaven got a new Angel. She is going to be missed by a lot of people and a little girl will grow up without a mother, but I guess life goes on. I guess that's how life is meant to be. Life and death....

Guess Spring isn't here yet. 40's yesterday and calling to only be in the 50's the next three or four days. That's ok....it will get here when it's ready.

On a nice note, James got his report card this week.....and all B's and C's! I was really happy about that. I hope he keeps it up from now on.

Easter is only a week away. Seems like it was just Christmas with two feet of snow on the ground. I guess it's true what they say about getting older....time goes by fast the older you get.

They did a brain scan on my cousin Saturday and seen that she was brain dead. She past away Saturday night. It's so hard to understand how something like this could happen. It's so so sad! She was a beautiful 21 year old woman with a baby girl. It's sad when an older person dies of old age, but for a young person to die just out of the blue....it's just not right.

I feel really bad for everybody in the family, but really heart broken for her mom and dad. I can't even try to understand how hard it is on them. :(

Shelby past away on the first day of Spring. I'll never think of this day the same way ever again...

My Cousin Shelby Went to the hospital Saturday night with back pain and throwing up. They sent her home but she went back Sunday morning. They was going to send her back home, but things got worse. They think she had some kind of infection in her heart. They airlifted her to another hospital...then that hospital sent her to another hopital, but before they could get her airlifted the 2nd time her heart stopped.

It was stopped for about 15 minutes before they could get it back beating again. The Dr's said they didn't think she would make it to the hospital after that....but she did. Then late Sunday night she had emergency heart surgery to put a pump in her heart, (her heart was beating too fast). Once again the Dr's said they didn't think Shelby would make it....but she did!

It's Friday now and she hasn't woke up yet. They are going to operate again today to take the pump out of her heart.

Shelby is a young beautiful woman with a baby. She has her whole life ahead of her! There in no way something like this should have happend to her....but it did.

Sheby needs to wake up....heaven can wait.

New Cell Phone

James spent the night with his Grandmas last night and he went to church with his friends this morning...so I'm here alone, well..me and the cat and the hampster.

Boy, am I getting Spring Fever more and more! Calling to be in the upper 50's to around 60 the next few days!! O'yeah baby...(then watch it turn around and snow another foot of snow). lol

I am getting a new phone this week. Coming in the mail Monday or Tuesday. It's a '' Verizon Razzle ''. I love getting a new phone from Verizon every 20 months!

The ACC Tournament Starts this week, then the NCAA Tournament starts next week. I love watching the Tournaments....just Wish UVA would have kept playing good, they have lost their last nine game! :(

My moms Birthday was last Thursday. Me and James went over there and gave her her Birthday presents.

UVA's Basketball team started out so good....but now, not so good at all. They have lost their last seven ACC games....damnit!!

I guess one good thing is that it's March...not too long until Spring now. O'yeah, calling for more snow today and tonight...lol.

Spring Fever

I know...it's been over a week since I wrote on this. Sorry, but the truth is not a lot has been going on......just cold and snow! Yeah, boring...but Spring has to get here one day!

I really do have Spring fever. So ready to get my flowers out on the patio and start growing some Tomato plants!! I didn't get to enjoy last Summer and last Fall much at all, with me being sick and the Hospital...

Speaking of the Hospital, I need to go back to UVA for two checkups sometime soon. I hope everything turns out ok!

Our new kitten is growing fast...and getting into my damn plants!! Every time I turn around I catch her trying to dig them up or play with them... :(

This has been one hell of a Winter so far! Just about once or twice a week we get snow....and just not little snows....I'm talking in feet. Also it has got down to -9 below three times this Winter....that's COLD!! James's Birthday was Thursday. He turned 15 years old. I took him and one of his friends out for pizza for his Birthday meal and his Grandma made him a Birthday cake.....and no, he got no gifts or money from his mom....AGAIN.

So, My Dallas Cowboys pissed me off Sunday. Lost 34-3....damn it! O'well, there is always next season.....hmmmmmmm. UVA s doing real good so far this season in basketball. They are 12-4 and 3-0 in the ACC...alone in first place!! Go Wahoos!!

Well, we got a kitten last Thursday. It's a cute little thing....little over two months old. James has been taking good care of it....so far.

James will turn 15 the 28th of this month.....so hard to believe. He is growing up SOO FAST! Way too fast if you ask me.

Well, my Dallas Cowboys won last night in the first round of the playoffs! Also, UVA won yesterday there first ACC game (9-4 1-0)....nice!

James went over to his new girlfriends house yesterday and spent the day. She seems like a nice girl (but they all do at first) lol.

It's been really cold here this Winter. 5 degrees this morning...7 degrees yesterday morning....berrrrrrrr. Heck, the snow we got over three weeks ago is still on the ground. That's tells you how cold it's been!

Well, it's 2010. Me and James stayed home and watched the ball drop on TV. I reinstalled Windows on my computer all day New Years Eve...fun, fun! But it does make your computer run better and faster!

Only calling to be in the 20's the next few days and windy! Berrrrrrrr.....is it Spring yet?

We went out to Wal-Mart yesturday and I got a few things for home. I have been doing some cleaning and moving things around...Spring cleaning a little early I guess.lol

Well, Christmas is over and it's almost New Years. I took all the Christmas stuff down a few days ago. I know a lot of people keep there Christmas stuff up until New Years, but we put ours up at Thanksgiving and by the time Christmas gets here I'm ready to take it down.

Well, James didn't get anything from his mom for Christmas, ( just like he didn't get anything from her for his Birthday). It's no surprise to James, he never expects to get anything from her anyway....but it's still sad. O'yeah, he has only got $10.00 from her in Child Support in the past FIVE months. That puts her over $12,000.00 behind in Child Support. How some people can treat their kid like that, I'll never understand!

Anyway, I sure hope 2010 is a little better then 2009 was, (well, I really hope it's a lot better but I don't want to be greedy).lol

It sure has been cold and snowy here in Virginia....what is this ''Global Warming'' some people speak of?? Hmmmmmmm.....

Well, it was a good Christmas. We went over to my moms house yesterday for ''Christmas dinner'' because it was calling for freezing rain today, (and yes, we did have freezing rain today). So we had a good (and big) dinner over there and we exchanged presents. Last night we watched ''A Christmas Story''....best Christmas movie of all time! :)

I got up about 4:30 A.M. this morning and James was sleeping on the couch.lol So, I got me a cup of coffee and let him dig into the presents. He was really happy. Lets see....he got a new Cell phone, a new Stereo, new Watch, new Clothes, Ect....

It was nice that we had a white Christmas. But like I said, we had feezing rain today on top of it.

Well, it's three days until Christmas. I just about got everything....I may still get a few more little things. But all and all, I'm ready for Santa.

James spent the night with one of his friends lastnight, so I wrapped the last of his presents. (unless I get more). I can't help it....I like doing all I can for James. Isn't that what a good parent does? I think so!!

The 26 inches of snow we got really put a slowdown on a lot of things around here...but the roads are a lot better now. But now they say we may get some freezing rain Christmas Eve night........on top of the two feet of snow we already have. Boy, I hope not. I don't want it to get so bad that we can't go over to James's Grandmas house Christmas day!

Had a big snow storm the last 24hrs. We got around two feet of snow....maybe a little more. Wow....this is our 2nd snow already, and it ain't even Winter yet. And they are saying we may get even more Winter weather Christmas Eve and Christmas day. Mmmmmmm...is this Virginia or the North Pole??

At least I have did all my Christmas shopping, or at least all I'm going to do for this year.

Took James to the store last night to let him pick some things out for Christmas. Going to take him again one night this week to let him pick some more things out. I orderd him a few things, (one thing I know he will really like, but not going to say incase he reads this). Got my mom a few things also. Hard to believe it's less then three weeks. I need to get more shopping done! Going to work on my Christmas cards this weekind so I can get them in the mail.

Was a nice Thanksgiving. We went over to my moms house for dinner. Boy, it was good. I ate a little of everything.lol Me and James walked back to the woods, and we pitched the football around a little. It was nice!

We started putting up the Christmas tree and decorations yesturday and more today. It's starting to look like Christmas!

I was thinking about how bad off I was a few months ago, and how it would have been if it would have been now. Being in the hospital for Thanksgiving, or Christmas would have been rough....but I know there is people in the hospital for the holidays every year. It's got to be really rough for kids to be in the hospital this time of the year.

Have did some more Christmas shopping for James. I do all I can for James at Christmas. Hell, James is still waiting to get a Birthday present from his mom, (and his Birthday was Jan. 28th). He knows he won't get one, but it's still sad!

Been a lot of dark gloomy rainy days here lately, but I guess that's part of Fall. I really don't mind. I'll pick a cool day over a hot day anytime! I don't like the heat at all, (unless I'm at the beach).

Only a week untill Thanksgiving. I like Thanksgiving. Good food, My Dallas Cowboys play....and we put up the Christmas decorations...and boy, I love Christmas time! Me and James went out to Wal-Mart today and got a few Christmas decorations, (not that we need anymore).

Believe it or not, I have already started Christmas shopping. That's right, I already have gotten James some presents. It's going to be hard this year, so thought I would start early. And no, I still haven't gotten any Child Support for over three months....but don't get me started about that!

Was some-what a nice quiet weekend. I did a lot of cleaning up around here, (yeah, Spring cleaning in the Fall....I've always been backwards). Not a lot been going on for the last week. Haven't been able to say that a lot here lately. I went over to UVA last week for more test. They haven't called me yet to tell me anything....I hope that's good news. Just have to wait and see.

James went with some friends to a church Halloween party Halloween night. He hasn't been trick or treating the last few years now, so I'm glad he got to do something.

Can't believe Thanksgiving is only three weeks from today. It's going to be a little hard this Christmas, with me having been sick and James's mom not paying any Child Support for the past THREE months. She never did send him anything for his Birthday last January, so it's not like she cares or anything. O'well, I always makes sure he has a good Christmas, and I will again this year.

If it ain't one thing....well, it's always another! This past week I had a BAD toothake. I went wed. and got two teeth pulled out. Was almost $400.00! O'well, anyway it feels 100% better.BUT, I had to miss my appt. over at UVA last week, (about my numb fingers). So, I have to go over there in the morning to get the test done on my fingers. But that's not all...no.no. I went to the eye Dr. this past Monday, and guess what? Yeah, I have to get glasses. That's another $100.00 for the glasses next week when they come in. Damn, If my body was a car, I think it would be time to change it in for a new model. I don't know what cost more...keeping my car running, or keeping me running.

Between going to UVA, the dentist and the eye Dr., that pretty much is my life right now.....fun, fun.

Hard to believe Halloween is just a few days away. Then before you know it, it well be the Holiday Season! Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas time....the lights, the music, the decorations, well everything about Christmas. It's just that it's going to be a little extra hard this year with all my Dr. bills. And O'yeah, lets not forget that I haven't even got any Child Support for almost three months now. Raising a kid is expensive enough....not getting any Child Support for months at a time makes it EVEN HARDER, especially around the holidays!

Exercise Bike

Been a cool rainy week. Only been in the 40's for the past four days. I really don't mind. I like dark cloudy Fall days.

I go back over to UVA on Tuesday to get some test done on my fingers, (the two numb ones). My leg is a LOT better, and my chest is still tight...but I guess it will be like that for some time, but it's getting a little better day by day...

A friend gave me a exercise bike the other day. I want to ride it some every day. Watch out....I'm going to look like ''Rocky''! lol

My Aunt Barbara comes up from Ga. tomorrow to stay at my moms for a few weeks again.

Wow, Halloween is less the two weeks away. We need to get a pumpkin for out on the patio!

I got a letter from Child Support a few days ago. It said that they was going to lower the Child Support that James's mom pays. Thats BULL...it really is. She doesn't pay it hafe the time now as it is, (she is almost $12,000 behind)....and now I'll get even less. O'well, since she is so far behind, she will be paying Child Support for the rest of her life. It's just sad that James is the one that has to ''pay''. I don't understand how a parent wouldn't want to pay Child Support for their kid....I really don't. But I know there is a lot in this World that wouldn't pay it, if they didn't HAVE TO....SAD!!

Been some what of a quiet week, (and that's the way I like it). I did go over to UVA Monday for my two Dr.'s appt. They took my blood and the Dr' said if they found anything wrong that he would call me. Well, he never did call me this past week, so I guess thats good news. I do have to go back next Tuesday. Ever since I got sick back in the Summer, my two fingers on my left hand has been numb, (little finger and ring finger). Going to run test and see what's wrong with them. Damn, if it ain't one thing it's another.

My Aunt Barbara is coming back up from Ga. next Monday for a few weeks. I like when she comes up. She is a lot of company to my mom...and she helps her out a lot.

Dr. Appointments

Went to my TWO dr. appts this morning over at UVA. Well, the first one was with the Dr. that operated on me. He said my chest and leg was looking good and was coming along fine. They took the two staples out of my chest that they missed the last time.

The second Dr. I went to more or less asked me a lot of questions. They took my blood, (seemed like he was looking for something....hmmmm). Anyway, he said he would call me in a day or two ''IF'' they found anything wrong with my blood work.

They said I could start driving my car again. Lord, it's been a long time. I hope I haven't forgot how to drive. lol Maybe in the next few days I will take a drive.......maybe.

Homecoming Dance

Sunny sunday morning here in Virginia....a little cool, (40's) but nice. James is still in bed. He got home last night a little past 11:00 P.M. from his homecoming dance. He said he had a good time....I'm glad!

Cold morning

Well, it's really is starting to feel like Fall around here. It was down to 36 this morning when I got up. Heck, it is October now. Gave my mom some money and had her take James out to Wal-Mart the other night to get him a new Winter coat, (just in time, I would say).

The computer fucked up the other day, so I had to reinstall Windows.....fun, fun.....NOT! I got most of it back to normal, but not all of it yet.

Have to go back to the Dr.'s Monday....well, really two Dr.'s. One at 8:30 A.M and the 2nd one at 10:00 A.M......over at UVA. My leg is doing better, but my chest is still tight and it hurts some.

James has his Homecoming dance at school this Saturday night. Got him new shirt and pants and a tie. He looks real good and real grown up in his new outfit.

Starting to look and feel like Fall

Yesterday really looked and felt like a Fall day. It was dark, rainy and cool....didn't even get out of the 50's all day....and that's find with me. I'm ready for Fall.

James went over to his grandmas house and spent the night lastnight. I watched some College football on tv., that was about it. Boy, recovering from surgery sure can be boring as hell sometimes....I did try and clean up some. I brought out some Fall stuff out of the closet and put it up in the livivngroom and out on the patio. Also just notice yesterday that a few trees are just starting to change colors.

Cabin fever

It's a rainy, dark, gloomy Friday morning here in Virginia. Nothing like being stuck at home on a gloomy day. Damn, I have cabin fever so bad! I can't wait untill I can drive, so I can go places and do things again. I'm so sick of being sick, (well, not really sick...just in pain).

I was trying to clean up the livingroom yesterday and I was down on the floor doing something, I went to get up and I hurt my chest. The Dr. told me to take it easy, (and I have been)....but I need to do something from getting so damn bored. Anyway, I also found two staples in my chest that they must have over looked....so when I go back to UVA they will have to pull them out....just great....more pain to look forward to!

I am getting around on my leg a lot better now. It still hurts some...but nothing like it did a few weeks ago. My damn chest is whats been bugging me. Along with the pain, it feels so damn tight.

I did bring most of my plants inside from the patio yesterday. It's getting to be that time of the year. Now I got plants all over my living room. The thing is we don't get much sun light in here in the Winter. So it take a lot to keep the plants alive for the long Winter. By the time Spring time get's here, they look really sad.

It's 3:31 A.M. and I'm sitting here at my desk drinking a cup of coffee....damn, I live an exciting life, don't I? I got about four hrs of sleep last night before I wroke up...I guess that's better then some nights. I just haven't been able to sleep good for sometime now.

Since I've been sick, I haven't really been any place this Summer other then the Dr.'s office or the hospital. I haven't even been able to drive my car for two months now! My mom has helped out a lot....bringing me stuff over here...taking James place's he has to go....taking me to the Dr.'s. But damn, I miss getiing in my car and just going when I feel like it. I hope it won't be too much longer before I'll be able to drive and go places by myself.

Hey, I just realized today is the first day of Fall. I hope this Fall is a hell of a lot better then this past Summer was! My football teams ain't doing to great. UVA is 0-3 and the Dallas Cowboys just lost Sunday night to go to 1-1 so far for the season. Ummmmmm....come on, something has to start going good for me....anything! O'yeah, when I was in the hospital some cute young nurse was flirting with me....but I was in too much pain to even enjoy it,damnit. LOL...

Taking one day at a time. My leg and chest still hurts...but is slowly getting better. Went over to UVA this past Monday and got the staples taking out of my chest, (had them taking out of my leg last week when I was in the hospital). Boy, it hurt like hell when they took them out of my leg!!

I have been using a walker (my new wheels lol ) that I got at the hospital.....but the last few days I've been getting around a good bit without it. I have been taking two kinds of pain pills and a antibiotic. Would you believe the antibiotics cost $600.00 for 14 pills??? Can you even believe that??? Wow...

This Summer sure hasn't been all that great for me...I hope this Fall is better. So glad Fall is almost here.

A week in the hospital (UVA)

I've been in the hospital (UVA) the past week. Monday morning my leg was hurting so bad that I couldn't even stand up. Had to call 911 and went to the hospital here....but that evening they transported me to UVA and I was there until Friday afternoon. I ended up getting an infection in my leg from the operation I had. I'm on three different pain pills....but I still hurt!

I have to go back to UVA this Monday morning for the Dr's to see how things are going. My chest also hurts....but not as bad as my leg. I'll be so glad when this crap is over!!

Well, I had the operation on this past Tuesday....and I've been in LOTS of pain since then!! My chest doesn't hurt that bad, my leg is what's been killing me. I take a pain pill evey four hrs....that helps for a little bit, ( just enough so I can hobble around). But when the pills stop working, the pain is so bad I can't walk on my leg. I go back to UVA this Tuesday so the Dr.'s can see how I'm healing. O'boy, the pain!! Can't walk....can't sleep....more or less I've just been setting here at my desk in this chair...the other chairs hurt too much to get out of with this leg! Damn, I wish it would start healing faster!!

College football starts today. I hope I can watch some without being in too much pain. Go UVA......Go Wahoos!

Quiet sunday evening

Few more days until I have the operation. They said it will start at 9:20 A.M. and last about three hrs. I hope I'm not in ''too'' much pain afterwards! Also hope they put me on some strong pain pills! O'well, just have to wait and see I guess. This sure has been one heck of a Summer, that's for sure!

Calling to only be in the 70's all this week.....and the 50's at night. That will be nice. I guess Fall is trying to push it's way in....and that's find with me.

Well, been three weeks this weekend since I had to call 911 and go to the Hospital. I have to say, everyone there was real nice to me....but boy, did I get a lot of needles stuck in my arms! They was pumping blood in one arm and taking it out of the other arm (to check my blood count).

Here it is at 3:15 A.M........and I can't sleep. I got a few hrs. sleep, but now I'm wide awake. Damn, wish I could just have one good nights sleep without waking up so much!

Well, went to UVA Monday. The good news is that I don't have Cancer....but I do have a tumor. I have to have a Operation this Tuesday, (Sept. 1st) to have it removed. The Dr. said there is a chance it ''could'' come back....and a chance it could come back as Cancer. Just have to hope that doesn't happen!

Here it is at 6:000 A.M. and I'm drinking my cup of coffee. James has stayed at his grandmas house this weekend, (my Aunt Barbara is also there for a few weeks).

Well, Guess I'll be going to UVA tomorrow. Don't really know what they are going to say....but I guess I'll find out soon enough. This has been a rough time of my life, with what's going on with me...and some other things going on in my life at the same time. I'm sure ready for some good news for a change. O'well, I hope things will be getting better sometime soon!

Football season will be here in a few weeks....that's good news. I'm a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and UVA. Been a few pre season games on, but I just haven't felt like watching much tv here lately.

Back to School

Well, James started high school on Tuesday. He said he likes it.....I'm really glad. I hope he does real good in high school! Seems like he was just in Head Start. Boy, the time goes by fast...

Four more days until I go back to UVA to see what the tests says. I just want to get all this over with.....but I guess everything takes time. Just not knowing what they are going to tell me Monday is the hardest part.

My Aunt Barbara, (my moms sister) is coming up from Ga. today to stay at moms for a few weeks. I'm glad. My mom has did a lot for me and James since I've been '''sick''. I was REALLY weak....but I'm better then I was.

One good thing....Fall will be here soon, (I hope). I love Fall time of the year...the cooler days and nights....changing colors of the leaves....football....

Well, I went over to UVA Friday. They ran some tests and sent them off to the lab. I have to go back over to UVA in little over a week to see what the tests said. I also have to go to three different Dr.'s in the next few weeks. I feel weak and I get tired easy....but I guess I wasn't planning on running a marathon anyway....

James has spent the night with his friend the last few nights. They went to the county fair last night. I'm glad he is having a good time the last few days of his Summer vacation. They start back to school this Tuesday.

Well, I found out why I haven't been feeling good. I had to call 911 and go to the hospital Saturday evening, and they kept me two days. My blood count was low.....really low! The persons blood count is 14%......mine was 3.7%! The Dr.'s at the hospital couldn't believe it. They pumped in five bags of blood in to my arm over the two days. I have to go to UVA Friday so they can try and find out where my blood is going. I'm still weak...but better then I was Saturday! I guess I'll find out Friday at UVA what's next...

Well, here it is Friday evening in Virginia. James is over at his grandmas house. I think he may be staying the nigh tonight. As for me, I'm just here fooling around on the computer.....o'yeah, I'm making brown (pinto) beans in the crockpot. To tell you the truth, I still ain't been feeling too good here lately. Not for sure what it is....but sure hope I feel better soon.

Wow...home on a Friday night cooking beans....what happen to the good old days when me and my friends went driving around on Friday nights looking for hot babes? Well, we did more then that....but that was one of the fun things. lol

O'well....at least my sunflowers are growning.....

Dog days of Summer

Not a lot been going on around here.....just the long hot dog-days of Summer. O'yeah, I did have a birthday last Thursday (30th of July)....no big deal. I turned 44 years old. Boy, where does the time go? Seems like it was just back in the 80's and me and my friends was riding around all night looking for girls...bring back the 80's! lol...

James starts high school in two weeks, (18th )....so hard to believe he is growing up soo fast!

Not a lot been going on. James got his stitches out of his hand....seems to be doing good. I haven't really been feeling too good the past few weeks. I guess that comes along with old age. My mom got a new car...well, not new, but new to her. She really needed it.

Another cool rainy day today...only got up into the 60's. Don't get me wrong, I like 60's a lot better then 90's,....but this sure isn't Virginia weather in July. Global Warming my ass!

So, 40 years ago today we landed on the moon....or some people still think it was a hoax. I was three years old then, (almost 4) and I didn't care one way or the other. I'm 43 now, (almost 44) and I still don't give a damn one way or the other. It would be sad to think that our Country would lie to it's people like that, (if it was a fake)....but they lie to us every day anyway....so......

Emergency room

Well, was in the Emergency room most of the night last night with James. He wracked his bike and landed his hand in some glass. He had to get stitches in his hand. We was in there around 6 and a half hrs.....we didn't get home until 12:40 A.M. I can't believe it took sooooo long! There was some people in there waiting 6 hrs just to be seen! That's REALLY SAD!!

Well, James spent the night at a friends house last night. He will come home later and we will go over to my moms house tonight and let off some fireworks....(yeah, got some at Wa-Mart the other day). We do that every 4th of July, his grandma likes watching them. I don't get a whole lot, just a $20.00 bag worth.....it's fun, then we come back home and watch other people let them off. Boy, June sure did go by fast, I think....and so far, it hasn't really been too hot, (I hope it stays like that)!

Wow, just a few weeks ago David Carradine past away. Now just in the last week and a half Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Ed McMahon, Billy Mays all past away. Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett on the same day.....Billy Mays today.

I used to watch Farrah Fawcett on Charlie's Angels back in the 70's. Ed McMahon on the Tonight Show....and we all know about Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, (well, at least that's what he called himself). Say what you want, but the man came out with some great songs: Beat It, Billy Jean, Thriller, Bad, Dirty Diana...and even a lot more.

Iphone Sucks!!

I am so sick of hearing about the stupid iphone! The little Apple fanboys thinks that the ipone, (just like Macs) are Gods gift to man....how sad. These people need to get out more....and get a life. Thank the Lord there isn't many of them. To tell you the truth, I don't even know one person that has a iphone, (the people I know are smart.....not Apple fanboys).

I want a phone to....well, make calls. Not to play little kids games, not to tell me where I'm at, not to let me e-mail people....I have a computer for that stuff. The way I see it, the iphone is for kids and teenagers....not adults.

This Country is really going to hell fast.You have a black President going around saying this isn't a Christian Nation anymore, and gays going around saying if you believe in the bible, (and don't believe in gay marriages), then you are a bigot.......and lets not forget how the Government is trying to tell you how you can and can't live your life all the time.

This Country has went down hill fast for about the past 15 or 20 years. I'm not saying it was great before that, but it was a lot better then it is now days! People in this Country keep saying that the United States is the best Nation in the World. OK, someone please tell me what we are the best at?... Starting Wars?....Letting the poor go hungry as the rich get richer?....Telling other Countries what they can and can't do, while we (the USA) do what ever we want?

I'm not saying there isn't good caring people in this Country, because I know there is...a lot of them. It's just that the good caring people don't have much of a say anymore. I hope that changes before it's too late...

The death of David Carradine

On Wednesday the great actor ( and one of the last of the great actors from the past),David Carradine, past away in Bangkok. I remember as a kid back in the 70's watching his tv show ''kung Fu'' every week. I loved that show.

Seems like there isn't many great actors from the 60's and 70's left. They are slowly dying off. I loved the tv shows from back in the 70's...and the people that played in them....when tv was, well, good. When you could set down with your kids and watch tv together and not worry about what they might see or hear.

Most of todays tv is just trash. The networks don't care what they show, as long as it gets the ''ratings''. I hate how this Country has became over the past 15 or 20 years. Now days here in the USA you can't even say that you believe in God....without being called a ''bigot''.

Last Day of School

Well, today is James's last day of Middle School. Wow, it sure hasn't seemed like three years since James started Middle School....where does the time go?? My little boy is going to be in High School next year! On June 11th it will be 25 years since I graduated High School. :o

It was hot the last few days....up around 90. But the next few days is calling only to be in the 60's and rain.....crazy weather!

Just got back from McDonald's and got some Egg McMuffins for Breakfast......boy,they sure are good! I like Hardee's Breakfast food also!

Took James over to his grandmas house for the day. He likes going over there. He has a fort over there he has been working on for about five years...he gets it half way up, then he knocks it down and stars over again. LOL

James seemed to have had a good time at his dance Friday night. They got there yearbooks and he got a lot of friends and teachers to sign it. They got a cool ink pin that lights up like a flashlight...I WANT ONE, DAMNIT! lol

Well, it's Memorial Day weekend....so Summer is HERE! James has been over at his friends house the last few days, and going to spend the night again tonight....so I've been doing a lot of cleaning up, (well,maybe not a lot...but o'well).

I got a Facebook page this past week. It's ok, but I seem to like Myspace better. No big deal...

Sunday in Virginia

Rainy cool Sunday. Yesterday is was up to 86....today it's 57. Crazy Virginia weather! Me and James went to Wal-Mart, Big Lots and the Doller Tree this morning. Needed a lot of things, got $20.00 worth of gass too.EVERYBODY wants my money........O'yeah, also I had to get my car worked on this week...grrrrrrrr!! Glad I don't have a wife, or I would NEVER have any money.lol

Well, James will be getting out of school for the Summer in a few weeks (June 4th). Hard to believe he will be in High School next year! Seems like he was just running around in his diaper holding his baby bottle. Where did the time go??

Today was a beautiful day for Mothers Day....Sunny and in the low 70's! Boy, thats my kind of weather....wish it would stay like that ALL Summer! I went over to my moms for lunch. James spent the night last night, so he was already there.

Got James a new cell phone the other day.....he broke his other one, whats new). Hope this one lasts a long time.....or at least until Jan.24th (thats when we get new upgrades from Verizon).

Got a few more plants for the patio. James said ''don't you have enough''? I said NO...I want our patio to look like a jungle.lmao
